Honour a Life. Support Rural Healthcare.
Making a memorial donation is a meaningful way to celebrate the life and legacy of someone special. A gift in their memory supports vital equipment, patient care, and hospital programs that serve families across our regional communities every day.
Through your tribute, you are not only remembering a loved one — you are helping ensure others receive compassionate, exceptional care when they need it most.
Memorial & Tribute Giving
Your generosity becomes part of a lasting legacy of care in our community.
For every memorial gift:
A tribute card is sent to the family acknowledging your thoughtful donation.
The individual’s name is added to our Virtual Memorial Wall.
The gift directly supports priority needs at Hanover and District Hospital.
The Garden of Fond Memories
Since 2010, the Garden of Fond Memories has offered a peaceful space for reflection at Hanover and District Hospital. With beautifully landscaped trees, vibrant flowers, winding stone pathways, and a tranquil stone river, the garden provides comfort to patients, visitors, and staff alike.
The garden was established through the generosity of Bill Roseborough in loving memory of his wife, Karen Roseborough — a devoted nurse who served the hospital from 1963 to 2001. His gift was both a tribute to Karen’s legacy and a recognition of the dedication of healthcare professionals who care for our community every day.
Today, the Garden of Fond Memories continues to serve as a place of quiet remembrance and healing.
